![]() |
Maisto International has released information on their brand new E.P. Rides. Two different rock and rolling trucks make up the E.P. (Executive Producer) Rides assortment. The Rides themselves look awesome, oversized speaker looking rims on an ultra-modern |
| truck design. But the look is
only part of it – you can play AND record music as well! You can even
hook-up your own MP3 player to it and use it as a rolling boom box! Two
cool, techno-tunes for each ride are pre-recorded. Based on the style of
vehicle you have, you can then record over the tunes and play DJ or Keyboard
King as you mix your own tunes. When you are happy with the sound, record it
and play it for your friends! “We tried to create two completely different sounds,” says Ralph Benitez, Art Director for Maisto and lead guitarist for the band Five-Forty. “The Key Machine brings new flavor for budding keyboardists, while the Scratch Sled will serve well as a kid’s first DJ Turntable.” Both the E.P. Ride Key Machine and the E.P. Ride Scratch Sled feature: ● Unique electronics to allow for extended musical play. ● Comes housed as an ultra-executive plastic truck, designed with the latest graphics. ● Speaker-shaped rolling wheels featuring our licensing partner Audiobahn, the authority in high quality audio gear. ● A cable to join MP3 player and the EP Rides, allowing you to listen to any songs. ● Try-me feature, which will work when the button is depressed at store level. ● Red & Blue LED lights, which beat to the music from inside the truck and also the control panel. ● Two pre-recorded songs, looped. ● 3 AA batteries The E.P. Rides will be available in early Summer 2007. Maisto, registered in 1990, is part of the May Cheong Group of companies, a vertically integrated manufacturer based in Hong Kong.
