April 17 is the 50th anniversary of the introduction of the Ford Mustang. Introduced as a 1965 model at the 1964 World's Fair in New York, it was a sensation that created a new class of automobile that was later called "pony car." Maisto makes many different Mustang models from 1965 to the present in die-cast, radio control and caricature Muscle Machines. Here are a few of them.

This is a photo of the tooling model for the  1:18 scale Maisto 2015 Mustang. We will also be making it in many other scales, including 3" Fresh Metal, 4.5" Power Racer, 1:24 Special Edition and 1:24 Muscle Machines Garage.

Maisto Designers will be participating in a Art Show this sat that will be showing other talents they have besides the daily grind they are use to. Not only do they work as a team at Maisto they also collaborate outside of Maisto and continue as a team or "family". They were chosen from the restaurant chain Wahoo's Fish Tacos which they have a close connection with the founders and event staff. You have probably notice the WAHOO'S logo is on a 1:24 Samba bus designed by Eddie Castro, which we will be raffling off along with 1:10 RC's, so if you are in the Long Beach CA. area this Sat. from 6-9 stop by meet and chat with them. Oh and see some killer art!!

Here are a few of the boards participating Eddie Castro, Brad Trimmer and Jody Bonham
